Choosing a Business Logo Tips
Tips on choosing a logo for your business that is economical in the long run.  From Embroidery to Screen-Print to Signs choosing certain fonts & colors can affect your cost for years to come.

Tip #1 - Pick a logo and keep it the same on everything.  The golden arches are never blue or green.  You want people to process in their mind, they saw your logo even when they don't have time to read it.

Tip #2 - Wording needs to be read in less than 10 seconds, if possible.

Tip #3 - More colors cost more money.  4 Color logo on a T-Shirt = 3 screens for left chest logo and 3 screens for full back logo.  (The T-shirt would be one of the 4 colors)

Tip #4 - Standard fonts require less graphic design time = $$$ saved to set up your logo.  Standard fonts would be Times, Arial, Block, Brush Script.  Script Fonts cannot be read quickly or can they be arched perfectly.

Tip #5 - Most economical printing colors are Black, White, Reflex Blue (Royal), Red, Green (Medium).

Tip #6 - Black & Reflex Blue can be read easier at night = more miles out of your advertising dollars.

Tip #7 - We suggest using a two color combo of White and a Dark Color.  Your logo can then be printed in 1 color on any white product or it can be printed in white on the dark color.  Example:  White T-Shirt + Royal Logo,  Royal T-Shirt +White Logo.

Tip #8 - Choose a printer who can provide lots of different products.  One Logo Set Up can then be adjusted for a minimal fee or free to go on T-shirts, magnetic signs, store front windows, forms, business cards, pens, labels, checks, logo mats, etc.

Tip #9 - Using a graphic will cost another set up for embroidery.  Embroidery set ups are different from printing.  To save the set up, you can leave the graphic out and only use your lettering in the correct font & colors.
